Set up your SimpliFind Tracker in minutes.

Activate your device online first, plug it into your vehicle, then sign in and start tracking.

Activate before installing. Your three-month free trial begins when your SimpliFind device is activated, so complete the online activation before plugging the tracker into your vehicle.

Your setup journey

Complete Phase 1 online, then move to your vehicle for Phase 2.

Phase 1

Activate online

Steps 1–6
  1. 1

    Open the activation page

    Scan the QR code provided with your device or visit the SimpliFind activation page.

  2. 2

    Create or sign in to your account

    Create a new SimpliFind account or sign in to an existing account.

  3. 3

    Confirm your account

    You will receive an email confirming that your account has been created.

  4. 4

    Enter the Device ID / IMEI

    Enter the Device ID / IMEI shown on your SimpliFind tracker.

  5. 5

    Confirm your subscription and payment

    Confirm your subscription plan and provide your payment details. Your three-month free trial begins when the device is activated.

    Look for activation confirmation

    You will receive a confirmation email once activation is complete.

    Once you receive confirmation, move to Phase 2 and install the tracker in your vehicle.

Install & start tracking

Steps 7–11
  1. 7

    Plug the tracker into your vehicle

    Locate your vehicle's compatible OBD-II port and plug the SimpliFind tracker in firmly.

    Confirm the device is powered on

    The blue and orange lights should flash while the device powers on.

    Choose how you want to access SimpliFind

    Use the native iOS or Android app, or access the Web Console through a supported browser.

    Sign in

    Use the SimpliFind account created during activation.

  5. 11

    Wait for the first GPS connection

    Allow approximately 2–5 minutes for the device to come online. Once it appears online, tracking can begin.

Find your OBD-II port

The port is usually within reach of the driver's seat. Check these common locations.

Under the dashboard

Typically on the driver's side, below the steering column.

Fuse box area

Near the fuse panel or behind a small access panel.

Near the steering wheel

In the lower dashboard area within easy reach of the driver.

Centre console

Inside or beside the centre console compartment.

Dashboard side panel

On the driver's side panel or kick panel area.

Glove box area

Behind or inside the glove box or surrounding panel.

Still can't find it? Use a flashlight, check behind any covers, or consult your vehicle's manual.

Getting your first GPS connection

After plugging in the device, allow a short period for it to establish its first connection.

What to expect

  1. 1Allow approximately 2–5 minutes for the first GPS connection.
  2. 2The blue and orange lights should flash while the device powers on.
  3. 3Once online, your vehicle will appear in SimpliFind and tracking can begin.

If it doesn't come online

  1. 1Make sure the tracker is firmly plugged into the OBD-II port.
  2. 2Move the vehicle to an open area away from covered parking for a clearer signal.
  3. 3Confirm the device was activated before it was plugged in.
